8. MY FORSTHOFGUT CLUB - TREE COLLECTING SYSTEM AND MEMBERSHIP LEVEL
8.1. Description of the My Forsthofgut Club
The My Forsthofgut Club is an exclusive loyalty program that allows guests to collect special benefits through their stays and spending at the Forsthofgut. Members earn so-called “trees” based on their spending and achieve various club levels that offer exclusive perks and rewards. Guests can take advantage of the club in two main ways:
- Spending-Based Tree Collection: Guests collect “trees” corresponding to a points system based on their spending. These points can be redeemed in the My Forsthofgut online shop for items such as a bottle of wine or an exclusive breakfast in the forest.
- Stay-Based Club Levels: The number of overnight stays per person, calculated on a rolling two-year basis, determines the guest's club level. This level grants various benefits, such as late check-out or modified cancellation policies.
Cash payouts or redemption as credits are not permitted under any circumstances.
8.1.1. Tree Collection System
Members of the My Forsthofgut Club can collect “trees” based on eligible spending at the hotel. For every €50 of eligible spending, 1 tree is credited. Items such as local taxes and services billed to third parties are excluded.
Collected trees are valid for five years on a rolling basis. For example, trees collected on November 11, 2019, will expire on November 12, 2024, if they are not redeemed by that date. Cash payouts or redemption as credits are not permitted under any circumstances.
8.1.2. Club Levels
Club levels are calculated based on the overnight stays recorded in the My Forsthofgut Club within a rolling two-year period. The total number of stays for a person over the past two years determines the club level as follows:
- Level 1: Starting at 0 nights
- Level 2: Starting at 10 nights
- Level 3: Starting at 25 nights
- Level 4: Starting at 40 nights
- Level 5: Starting at 50 nights
Only the overnight stays of the primary registered club member, who is also listed as the main billing contact, are counted. Stays of accompanying family members are not considered.
To maintain a specific club level, the required number of overnight stays must be continuously met; otherwise, the level will be adjusted according to the current number of stays. Benefits corresponding to a club level can be redeemed on the day of arrival. Early redemption before the arrival date is not permitted. Cash payouts or redemption as credits are not allowed under any circumstances.
8.2. Changes and Discontinuation of the Club
The Forsthofgut reserves the right to modify or discontinue the terms, structure, or operation of the My Forsthofgut Club at any time. Members will be informed of any changes or the discontinuation of the club in a timely manner.
In the event of the dissolution or structural changes to the My Forsthofgut Club, Hotel Forsthofgut GmbH & Co KG is under no obligation to provide cash payouts or similar compensation for accrued benefits. All collected trees and claims will expire after the specified period or upon the club’s dissolution.
